A Humane Option for Controlling Cat Colonies

Our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program offers a humane approach to addressing community stray cat population concerns in a way that saves lives and is effective. TNR improves the lives of feral cats, addresses community concerns, reduces complaints, and stops the cat breeding cycle.

How it Works

We set up humane traps in a pre-selected cat colony area that are checked frequently throughout the day. As cats are trapped, they will be housed at the rescue where they will await their veterinary appointments.

Each cat will receive Rabies and Distemper vaccinations along with being spayed or neutered and their ear will be clipped for future identification. After recovery, friendly cats will be put up for adoption and feral cats will be returned to the community.

Package Options

The total service cost is based on the number of cats that enter into the program. If the community has a designated area they would like the cats released to that can also be arranged. The average cost to vaccinate, spay/neuter, and care for each cat is $70 per cat. However, we do offer savings with larger packages of 5 cats or more.
